Abstract:
On the basis of experimental results the new design of a Variable\r\nInlet Guide Vane (VIGV), as can be used for the control and\r\nregulation in multishaft compressors, is presented. Main goal of\r\nthis investigation is a significant increase of the operating range\r\nand a reduction of the total pressure loss compared to a currently\r\nused basic design. For both designs 2D-cascades were build for\r\ndetailed measurements in the High-Speed Cascade Wind Tunnel\r\nat the Institute of Jet Propul...    »
