Abstract:
In this paper, the flight performance of a conceptual electrical vertical-take-off-and-landing (eVTOL) vehicle which has two impellers with one thrust vector nozzle and two included supplied wingtip nozzles, is simulated and evaluated by use of a performance evaluation controller (PEC). The PEC is based on an incremental nonlinear dynamic inversion (INDI) that ensures a desirable flight performance through the mission. It has the knowledge of the current system and actuator states to handle the input controls by a reactive pilot model (RPM) that contains the mission of the aircraft. The performance of the aircraft and the adjusted controller will be presented and evaluated. «
