With decreasing prices for display technologies andbendable displays becoming commercially available; novel forms of public displays in arbitrary shapesemerge. However, different shapes impact on how usersbehave in the vicinity of such displays and how theyinteract with them. With our research we take a firststep towards exploring these novel displays. Wepresent findings from an initial study with cylindricaldisplays and discuss to what extent findings can be generalizedtowards other forms of public displays. «
