Abstract:
The time of flight energy (TOF-E) setup installed at the scattering chamber of the Q3D magnetic spectrograph to perform heavy ion elastic recoil detection (ERD) analysis at the 14 MV Munich Tandem Accelerator has recently been upgraded. Now, the energy detector of the TOF-E setup is additionally capable of performing $\Delta$E-E measurements for high energy recoil ions obtained from e.g. a 170 MeV \textsuperscript{127}I projectile beam.
